used a caliper to measure My Rotors and they are measuring 2mm. tool works fine. brake pad spreader has a graduated lip on it that ranges from 1.5mm to 3mm. constructed of fairly heavy gauge material about 4.5mm thick. it's a good bullet proof tool that will last.
