The Gripple tool is a great product that works well for repairing and tensioning field fences. It is easy to install, and customers recommend watching the installation video. The Gripples hold up well against harsh weather in the northeast U.S. They are versatile and can be used to splice tensioned horse fences and provide tension on steel support for tubing used in collecting maple sap. However, some customers had to return the product because it was not suitable for their wire gauge or wire type.
