I am having trouble with my artwork shifting around the frame. The points aren’t holding it close enough. Am I doing something wrong?

To prevent shifting, you can use corners to hold the art to the backer and hinge tape to hold the mat in place. Make sure the glass is clean and the sandwich should be a close fit inside the frame. The gun will press the sandwich gently to the front of the frame with each shot.

Does it come with flexipoints?

Yes, it comes with a small amount of both flexible and rigid points.

Are the flexible points strong enough to hold in a painting done on hardboard?

Yes, the flexible points are very strong and should work well for securing hardboard.

Will it work for Ash? It’s a very hard wood. Almost impossible with a screwdriver.

Although not specifically tested on Ash, it has been used on other hard woods successfully. The point driver is strong and well-made.

What color are the flexible points?

The flexible points are black and usually not visible if the back of the frame is covered with brown paper.
