The dryer has gentle heat. It doesn’t get scorching hot. We’ve never had anything melt.

Would this work for wetsuit booties and gloves? Are they more wet (and with saltwater)? Also wonder if the temp is too high for the material.

The dryer has gentle heat. We’ve not had anything melted or ruined on it. We dry all kinds of things on it… muck boots, mittens, gloves, dog collars.

Would this work in an unheated garage in very cold weather?

We use ours in our building, not heated, during all 12 months of the year... we have not had any issues with ours.
