These lathe cutting tools are made of super-hard 40CR material.

What is included in the package besides the lathe tools?

The package includes 2 installation wrenches, a set of assembly screws, and one 95°CMT09T304 blade.

Does this come with just 1 insert? or 1 extra insert? do all the tools have inserts as shown in every picture? description is very unclear.

Mine came with inserts for every tool and one spare insert. I had that same question and I was pleasantly surprised when the package arrived.

Are the inserts sharp? I’ve purchase them twice and both sets aren’t sharp. Is this normal for the inserts? I’m new to this.

They are not sharp like a knife and cannot be sharpened. If you are new to lathe work, get some High speed steel (HSS) and learn to use that first. It is important that you properly set the hight of your tool. If it is too high it will just rub on the material, and if it is too low it will grab the work, chatter and quickly destroy the carbide insert.
