This weighted garage presser canner has a width of 14 1/4". It is made in Terra Haute Indiana and weighs 10 lbs empty. Customers have used it on both natural gas and glass top stoves. The weight can lean to one side and get stuck, however, but adjusting the heat can stabilise it. The jar basket is not made of stainless steel and is prone to rusting after 4-5 uses. Safety has also been a concern with one customer experiencing the lid blowing off during cooking. Despite this, the product has encouraged customers to start canning and its ease of use has made preserving foods easier.
