The Roy Benson Bb Trumpet Mod. Charli Signature is an inexpensive student instrument that comes with a 7c mouthpiece and a nylon-covered styrofoam case, with backpack straps. The trumpet is silver plated all over and has an open ring for the right hand pinky and a fixed closed ring for the left hand pinky. The tone is usable but somewhat generic, and the sound is a bit on the lighter side, making it suitable for church hymns or as a C trumpet. The Construction and playability of the horn are impressive for the price, and it works better than some more expensive trumpets. However, it does not compare to higher-quality instruments, and if the budget permits, a better horn is highly recommended.
