The 4" Airway Flange Kit includes one set of non-threaded flanges that are used to stabilize the pad during use. Some buyers have reported that they do not fit certain polishing tools or require an extender with at least 1" of thread. However, once adjusted, they are noted to work well on bigger pads and are even better than the original ones that came with some tools. One buyer had to bore the flanges to fit a 5/8" arbor, but otherwise, they are noted to be precise and balanced.
