Yes, these tools are easy to clean and have a good shape. I'm working with paper clay(water based), plasticine, polymer clay and the tools are good for all these materials.

Do these tools have lead in them?

No, I don't think so. I only ordered this for Polymer Clay only. If you're using these tools for anything else, I have no clue about whether or not it has lead in it. Sorry if this isn't helpful. :/
