The amplifier has a lot of volume that would be perfect for high impedance cans which includes Sennheiser HD 600 and HD 650. Both types of headphones work very well and you do not need any other cables than the original. If you are using an iMac as a source, you will need a USB 2.0 Cable with connectors type A male to type B male.

Can I use this and control the volume for power amplifier McIntosh 275?

The product has never been tried to connect directly to a power amp.

The Teac UD-503-B Dual-Monaural USB DAC with Headphone Amplifier is a great piece of equipment that has a number of cool features and functions. The UD-503 is a DAC and a pre-amplifier, so customers can use it with their own amplifier. The volume adjust is only needed for the headphones, but it comes with high preamp RCA outputs that go to inputs of an audio receiver. The device meets the expectations of users and have a great build quality. It is an excellent choice for anyone using headphones. One user had an issue with their software and saw some scrambled sound while using the device, but this was quickly fixed by reinstalling the drivers. Another issue that was found regarding the "Velvet" sound of the AK4490 DACs - some loved it, while some didn't like it at all. Apart from this, users were satisfied with their purchase.
