If you're in the market for a quality replacement filter for your sprinkler heads, the Xerigation Rainbird RBY200SSMX 200-Mesh Stainless Steel Replacement Screen is a great option. This filter is a Rainbird OEM replacement part and is designed to keep your sprinkler heads free of incoming debris. The stainless steel filter has a mesh size of 200-mesh and is much finer than the plastic basket screens that are found in sprinkler heads. The downside is that it is thin and somewhat delicate. You also must remember to clean it at some interval. The stainless screen is washable. It should be cleaned occasionally, as needed, or it will plug and the water pressure will rip a tear in it. Our development uses reclaimed water for irrigation and it is much dirtier than tap water. After cleaning the screen every month without getting much debris out, I waited over 6 months; hence my ordering this replacement.
