Can this stain natural granite?

This is not really a stain. You might be able to work some of the pigment granules into granite, and if you're willing to mix it with epoxy and pour it on it, it might stay there, but there is near zero penetration of color.

By itself, absolutely not. It is basically pigment granules suspended in an alcohol/water base. If you mix it in with something like epoxy, it will be as weather proof as the epoxy. But, by itself, it becomes a chalky dusty layer of color that will come off in your hands, and if you pour water on it, it will wash off easily, which for me was actually a good thing. I bought a bunch of the stuff based on the results in the example pictures, but the example pictures are made using the 'Unicorn Spit' as the pigment, using other components to actually make it a shellac of sorts, which means that non-toxic goes out the window, and using it by itself is not only temporary, but looks like cheap finger paint that they give to pre-school kids. If you're willing to go the extra step and mix it into all kinds of other stuff, I have no doubt you can get some pretty cool results. But if you're looking for an 'as is' solution, keep looking.

You can use this as a paint or dilute with water to create a gel, glaze, stain, white wash or antiquing tint

Can this be used to antique gold leaf?

It dries to a matte finish BUT pops when a gloss sealer is applied SO could possibly look like gold leaf. I used it to stain a board then used a different color to stencil on top of that-then used an OIL based clear gloss sealer and turned out great-you can blend colors too to get a shade you want. I would test a sample just to make sure it's what you want. IF it doesn't for that application you can use it for another project--LOVE this product-good luck on your project

If you're looking for an 'as-is' solution, Unicorn SPiT 5770013 Gel Stain & Glaze might not be the best option for you. Despite its name, it is not a stain, but can be used to create a gel, glaze, stain, white wash or antiquing tint. It is not weatherproof by itself, and if you add water, it can go farther. The pigments in Unicorn SPiT can work well to create a weathered gray finish but it may require several coats to get the desired effect.
