This will work as a Bluetooth device/speaker, assuming Tidal supports playback on external devices. You will need to stream the music via your phone or laptop.

Will this work with Xbox One S using optical input from the console?

I have not tried using it with Xbox, but it should work. I have been using the control remote only to do all the adjustments I need.

The amp has a HiFi mode that returns the response to flat and a TONE_ON mode that returns the response to previous tone settings. The amp can drive a pair of speakers with nominal impedance of 4 ohms, and it has a stereo analog input that bypasses the DAC. It can be connected to a TV with an optical or headphone output. The audio stream format should be PCM. It is not the most powerful amp, but it has a sub woofer outlet.
