The Ryobi has a tilt head, but the reviewer found this feature to be a negative as it was hard to get into messy trees. The kit comes with a smaller 8 inch chainsaw for pruning, but it takes time to clear out branches to get close enough to use it. The 2 Amp battery that comes with it did not last long, but the reviewer had higher power batteries on hand. Another reviewer who borrowed and then bought this pole saw found it to be ideal, and the pruner works well too. They were unsure of how long the pruner would last without an installed oiler but planned to use a separate oiler.
