Thrustmaster TFRP Rudder Pedals for Flight Simulators

The Thrustmaster TFRP Rudder pedals are a mid-tier option for flight simulator enthusiasts looking for a budget-friendly option. The rudder pedals have a selector that allows for throttle/brake use for racing games, giving the products extra functionality. It is compatible with various hotas configuration and recognized by Windows as just another joystick controller. The pedals come with aluminum components and toe axes to add incremental press. Still, the small center detent makes it difficult to maintain a centerline while taking off or landing. They come with a sliding mechanism, which can feel awkward to some users. The mounting setup provided by Thrustmaster is inadequate, and users often have to find their own maker. One major drawback of the Thrustmaster TFRP Pedals is that the potentiometer goes out within a few months, and the rudder pedals' motion sensor crashes after only 1.5 years of use. Buyers were divided on whether they would recommend these pedals or not, as there are other options with better durability and precision, such as Logitech, but at a heftier price tag.
