The Green Leaf SW Wick Applicator is a gardening tool that comes fully assembled. The 5-foot wide applicator comes with an opening of 1-1/4 inches. It has a double wiping coverage and a robust structure. However, one user found that there was a design flaw with the tool as it did not stop dripping herbicide once added. The user found that the liquid is absorbed by all the wicks and each starts to steadily drip. This means it would apply to a lot of unintended vegetation. Another user found the tool sounded good but did not do what was advertised. The rope drips in addition to wiping the weeds and so it also manages to kill the weeds as well as plants that get dripped on. The manufacturer also admitted that it would drip. Unfortunately, since the weed killer has been used, you cannot return it for credit. A user also noted that it would be ideal to have a mounting bracket. There is a kit for the 10, 15 and 20ft sections but the user would have to purchase PVC pipe and drill the holes themselves.
