One reviewer found the sander heavy, noisy, with frequent disconnection of the hose adapter, and plenty of dust escape from the tube frame, due to the split where the pole is inserted. The vacuum system is disappointing, and the hose cannot stay attached to the back of the unit. The suction power is weak, and it has to be hooked up to a shop vac to control the dust. But for the others, the power and LED lighting were decent, with good grit options and standard pads. The suction was surprisingly good, shows any defects, and fits standard pads. The product is a little cumbersome, but it's a great value for sanding by hand, is 90% better at dust collection, and faster than pole sanding. It is best placed above you.
