The Platinum Fountain Pen President #1 Black and Gold (PTB20000P-Nib: M) is a classy cigar-shaped pen that is slightly bigger than the well known Platinum 3776 model. It comes with a smooth and generous 18k M nib and includes a converter and one ink cartridge. The pen is well-balanced and perfect for daily use, and its section is the perfect size, not too thin. However, the first pen received by one customer leaked ink and another customer received a used and scratched item. Despite this, the pen writes phenomenally with an incredible nib that writes smoothly and has a nice amount of feedback. It is a great value compared to higher-end European pens and has a good ink flow. The only downside is that it is slightly on the lighter side and the converter holds a decent amount of ink but requires frequent refilling.
