The Parker IM Duo Gift Set with Ballpoint Pen & Fountain Pen is an attractive and well-Constructed writing instrument, which writes smoothly and is easy to use daily. One person didn't enjoy writing with it, stating that the fine point seemed to scratch across the paper, rather than write. However, others found it to be a great pen, with a fine-tipped nib, balanced weight, and attractive appearance. One person liked it so much that they were inspired to write a personal/family history with it. It has some ink flow issues, but putting the front end of the pen into a cup of cold water over the night should solve the problem.
