Is free roam in story mode limited?

Once you're done with the intro, that takes a 2-4 hours to complete depending on the player, and you get to the first main camp you can basically go anywhere but Armadillo which opens up at the endgame.

Is there a difference between rated M and rated 18 on the cover?

Yes. M is categorized as 17 and up. 18 is 18 and up. Now what has to be in a game to make that distinction? I have no idea.

Compatible with Xbox Series S?

As long as it is an Xbox One it should work.

I downloaded game but will not let me play the game. Do I have to be online to play?

That is because you have to offline and it will let you play it.

Why does this look like the Outlaw Jose Wales movie and story?

I guess it kinda does. Never saw that. And besides characters in game also being outlaws, at times, that’s where similarities end. The “Outlaw Josie Wales” is set at end of Civil war. 1864-1865. Red Dead Redemption is set early 1900’s. In a fake area similar to western American frontier.
