I don't believe so. I don't keep mine in the fridge and it hasn't gone bad yet, it's been about a year and it still has its great flavor.

If it doesn't have vinegar in it you should refrigerate it, especially if you live in a warm climate.

I don't know but 'After Death's sauce, which is only 45,000 scoville was way hotter. I just had them back to back.
