The HP Chromebook x360 14-inch HD Touchscreen Laptop is a basic laptop with built-in virus protection and a forward facing camera. It has a dual band WiFi and has the ability to rotate into portrait mode if in Tablet Mode with Rotation Lock off. However, the internal storage may not be adequate for a teacher's use. The laptop is lightweight and has good battery life, but lacks in adjustability for brightness and eliminated several keyboard keys, delete and end key. Magnetization on the back of the keyboard was found to be weird. The machine is hard to understand and learn according to a few customers. The lack of a power LED indicator on the front of the machine is also a bother. The device is navy blue instead of the expected white and silver. Customers may be faced with sudden shut downs and strange brightness on the screen. The laptop has had recurrent battery issue causing screen to show dead battery and shut down. It must be restarted and the battery would subsequently show 90% charge. The game icons buffer for no reason and requires a restart to get them working. One customer also complained of advertising the device as "new" while it has no warranty when registered with HP. Despite these issues, customers are content with the purchase and appreciate that it is lightweight and has good battery life.
