- Question : Where is this made?Answer : They are a division of Pure Fishing. I think they were originally made in Finland, but the current manufacturing location is unknown. They are considered great reels for the price.

The Pflueger Lady President Spinning Fishing Reel is an affordable and good quality reel that is highly recommended by customers for its smooth retrieve and gear, line capacity, and fit and finish. It is also relatively lightweight at 7.2 oz and has a gear ratio of 5:2:1, with a max drag of 9lb but can handle up to 15lb braid. The reel is ambidextrous and is available in a red colour scheme, but some customers have found it to be more red than pink. In terms of differences between this and the original President model, some customers find the Lady President to be a better feeling and lighter reel, but essentially the same as the President XT.
