Yes, it is easy to install as it comes with a 3M self adhesive strip on the back for easy peel and stick.

Can it fit any door size?

This product is sized to fit most doors and can be easily trimmed with a household scissor.

Will this adhere to metal?

I used it on the metal frame of the door that was painted white. It had a lot of grime that had to be cleaned before installing this weatherstrip. Make sure you thoroughly clean the frame with alcohol or some other solvent that does not leave a residue. Narrow edge goes towards the door. Good luck.

Can this be attached on top of this product: https://amzn.to/38Krl26? Would it make sense to do that to decrease air and sound leak?

It won't stick well on a soft foam like that.

Can someone please tell me how thick it is with the teardrop completely open? Can it be easily squeezed together flat or is the teardrop firm?

Not going to go measure thickness as mfg should have those details available, but it has plenty of ability to collapse. I ordered this a number of times now, and it's very good quality. The way it ships isn't so good if you buy in bulk, but the pre-packaged stuff appears to be packaged neatly.
