Although the balls are advertised as 12 inches in diameter, some customers have found that they are smaller than expected and measuring at approximately 7-8 inches. Despite this, they have a relatively durable quality but are lighter than regulation volleyballs or larger beach balls. They can be inflated with either a pump or mouth inflation, and are suitable for younger children to handle.
