The turntable is built in Germany and has many similarities to the Technics 1200 with some improvements. The turntable has a heavy and solid build and is easy to set up. The RP-8000 has excellent torque, providing the ability to start and stop on a dime with no detectable drag. The turntable is also customizable, with adjustable torque and brake dials. The Reloop RP-8000 is midi programmable with 8 very responsive drum pads that can trigger cue points, samples, loops, and slices. The primary downside of the turntable is the potential for noise with the included USB cables.
