i don't know , i don't have a beard..but; if for hair thickness , on top of your head above your eye brows. it's a good product, it truly is.

does this oil weigh down hair, or make hair greasy looking?

No if you use a small amount on your hair and I usually apply some on my scalp

is this good for thick curly hair ? im buying for my daughter who has hair so thick it never seems to get moisture on the inside of her hair and knots

I have thin hair so I bought it to make my hair grow and thicker. My recommendation is to buy the one with avocado ingredients.
