I use these oils and haven’t had an issue with being able to pour them or them spilling. So I don’t think it would be an issue unless it’s extremely viscous in which case it could pour slowly

Just under 1/2 inch (11mm). Might be OK if you hold the pen at a 90 degree angle. I'm thinking it'll be tight.

I would not hesitate to use them for food items.

The Vivaplex Glass Bottles are well-made and sturdy. They are leak-proof and do not break easily when dropped. The opening is just under 1/2 inch, so it may be tight for some objects like a dip pen. These bottles can be used for storing food items like honey and can also be used for alcohol tinctures. Overall, a good product that comes highly recommended.
