  Answer : Yes, it can be used on a variety of surfaces including metal.
• Question : Does it create a lot of dust?
  Answer : It features a dust extraction port which can be used with a vacuum to reduce exposure to unhealthy odours and hazardous chemicals.
• Question : Will this remove the paint but leave the varnish under of a kitchen cabinets?
  Answer : Each pass will remove .1 of a mm only.
• Question : Will this remove the lead based paint from the siding on my house?
  Answer : Yes, but lead paint removal is extremely dangerous. It requires licensing and a full hazmat suit. I recommend hiring a professional for this job.
• Question : Does this remove powder coating?
  Answer : I do not think it would work very well on powder coating.
