This coverlet has stitched, quilted patterning but is not thick like a quilt. It is rather pretty and well made for the money. The black color has some grayish undertones, not quite the clear, crisp, solid black. The product dimensions are 118 x 106 inch. It fits king and oversized king size beds perfectly, covering the sides and bottom all the way down the bed. The edges are the same on all sides, and the color is more like ivory.
