Replace the round coffee filter every 10-12 uses or every 3 months, whichever comes sooner.

Do you dry your filter between uses?

I’ve done both. I have just recently been storing it wet in the fridge, seems to prolong filter life.

Are these compatible with the Brewista Pro cold brew system?

It's made for Toddy system, so I don't know about Brewista.

Are these compatible with the brim smartvalve cold brew system?

Don't know what that is, but if it is the same size filter, should be fine.

Seen that some were replaced with better filters. Are the present filters the better ones?

My packages do say 'Replacement Toddy Filters' but they appear to be the same or similar to what I've been using and they seem to be a good quality. It could be they are not replacing a different filter, but rather just describing the filter as a replacement for the original filter that came with the toddy kit.

Why are these inferior to Toddy filters?

They are very thin. About 1/3 the thickness of Toddy filter.
