But there was still dust to contend with.

Never heard of Wen products is this thi g any good? using to renno a few rooms at home

Actually bought this with great anticipation and expectation. I wish I could say it lived up to them. Sorry to say I only used it once1) did not have anywhere near the sanding power I expected.2) Used up pads , which tend to be expensive, very quickly. Machine was absolutely ineffective sanding the dried joint compound. I think if the compound was applied lighter might do better.3) Machine is a little unwieldy. Arms can get a little tired holding machine on overhead sanding too.4) Can't really remember but hooking up the dustless port to shop vac didn't turn out to well either. Had to duct tape connection to keep it togetherI wish I could give a better report but this has been my experience.Waste of my time and my money.

Can this be used to sand paint off a concrete floor

Probably depends on the paper you use. It works well as a drywall sander but heavier duty paper would be necessary to sand concrete

Where can i buy repair parts at

The price on these suggests you buy a new one. Or pull a macgyver.

This sander has a rotary motion. Wood should be sanded with the grain. this machine may leave swirl marks. Yes, it can be attached to a vacuum. You may need an adapter depending on the size of your vacuum hose. Sanding discs are available on line in fine grit.

Mid mounted motor question...vs Head Mounted Has someone used both that can comment on which works best and they're thoughts about how and why please?

Mid mount is a just a tad easier to use. However, it may cost more.
