The Powermaster Ultra Torque Starter has received mixed reviews from customers. One customer reported that it was a direct replacement for their 2007 GMC crew cab 4.8 engine and fixed their 2004 Chevy Suburban. However, they didn't like having to self-install it. Despite the installation inconvenience, they were satisfied with the end result of their truck finally starting. Overall, the Powermaster Ultra Torque Starter seems to effectively serve its purpose as a replacement starter for certain vehicle models, but the self-installation process may be a downside for some buyers.
