A bass guitar, yes... I wouldn't use this particular tree on an electric. The purpose of the tree is to aid in achieving a break angle between the nut and the tuner. Electric guitar strings have a much smaller gauge than bass strings, and the openings in this tree are large, by comparison. Try looking for a strings bar, or roller(s), depending on how many strings you are retaining. Good luck!
