No, but the screws are pretty long.

How do you indicate there is outgoing mail? Doesn’t look like there is a flag.

There is no flag. I put my mail in the long way and leave a small part of the mail sticking out of the mailbox with the lid down on it. It’s heavy enough to hold it there. I do love the mailbox. Well made.

Is this waterproof? Or does it need to be installed under an awning?

It is waterproof I like it. Buy it.

The Wall Mount Mailbox - Hummingbird - Cast Aluminum - Rustproof - Letter Box Mail Parcel Black is an amazing product. Customers have found it easy to install, and one even used the cardboard template that came with the box to mount it. Although one customer didn't receive the plastic anchors, the screws provided worked well with the anchoring system. The mailbox is durable and sturdy, with a good width that can hold a lot of mail without being bulky. Furthermore, the aesthetic quality of the mailbox is on point, and it's not surprising to get compliments from everyone that sees it. One downside is that it comes without a lock. However, overall, the mailbox's quality is impressive.
