The vacuum is just like any other wet/dry vac with only a 1/2 gallon holding tank. It may help with spills in cars, and so on without continuously being emptied.

The DEWALT DCV517B 20V MAX Cordless WetDry Portable Vacuum has been well-received by customers. The vacuum has a great suction with the capability of cleaning up drywall dust. It is easy to switch from dry pickup to wet, but the filter must be removed first to avoid complaints about wet filters. The vacuum has a small holding tank which can pick up spills in cars. Standard 1 1/4 inches attachments fit the vacuum, and the vacuum works with 20v batteries and 60 flex volt power. Additionally, the product is perfect for use in an RV as it works great with existing batteries.
