The Fiber Optic Cable Tester Checker is a great tool for quickly testing fiber optic cables. It is a convenient pen size and shape that easily fits into a pocket for on-the-go use. The VFL features a super bright red light that makes it easy to identify the other end of the cable. The tester is compatible with FCSCST Universal Connector, making it easy to hook up to any of the larger fiber jumper ends. Although the battery life is not great and it tends to go through the battery quickly, this can be resolved with the use of rechargeable or lithium batteries, rendering it good to go.
