What is it made of? does it use loft for warmth, or is it flat like mylar?

It is made of some thin fabric coated in mylar. It is completely flat and provides absolutely no insulation. However, if you are wearing warm pants and a jacket to sleep in and are on a sleeping pad you can sleep in very cold weather. It is a viable replacement for a sleeping bag.

Is this like a tarp with a zipper? Would it fit a sleeping bag inside it?

It has a partial zipper into a drawstring near the top. A thin fabric style small sleeping bag could fit inside of it but not any decent sized stuffed bag.

Does anyone know of a circular molle pouch that would hold this bivvy? I want to place it on the molle straps on the bottom of my pack.

A Dunamis Cargo Hanger would work. The Medium size would hold it with room to spare.

Is this product noisey when one moves around inside?

Yes. Its kind of just a thick space blanket with a different outer shell. Good product but depending on your needs, youd be better off with a USMC bivy.

Why is the OD green more expensive than the Orange one?

The orange bivy bag is not made from breathable material like this green one. The orange one will keep you warm but trap moisture inside.

How does this work for a hammock setup?

If you wanted to sleep in the hammock inside of this it would be fine. It is not meant to go around the entire hammock.

Can it opened up to use a blanket
