What does the chop suey taste like?

Hard to answer as I use it to make a casserole that also contains chicken, chow mein noodles, as well as chicken & mushroom soups, so we are not tasting just the vegetables. However all I can say is we like the casserole very much. I believe the vegetables by themselves would be on the bland side rather than spicy.

Why is the can in the picture different from the one being sold?

Dented cans were also a problem for me. Not all but some of the cans and often enough to notice. I still love this good texture and flavor.

Did anybody else order chop suey vegetables and got stir fry vegetables instead?

The original Chop Suey Vegetables are now in a blue can that day La Choy Stir Fry Vegetables and then underneath say Chop Suey. These are the cans that do not have the baby corn in them. I have found them at Hy-Vee and Price Chopper.

How much sodium and carbohydrates are in a can?

There is 5g of carbohydrates and 510mg of sodium in a 14 oz can.

Is this product American-made?

Yes, but the cans were all dented up and unusable – don’t recommend this!!!
