The sanding block is a hard plastic block and not made of rubber as some customers had thought. It does not have a dimpled rubber sanding surface. Customers can tear 9x11” sheets of sandpaper and cut them into four 9x2.75” sheets to fit perfectly into the holder. The sanding block can be bought with one sheet of sandpaper, but any sandpaper can be used with it. The sanding block is not ideal for large projects and customers can opt for electric sanders for those. The sanding block can handle sandpapers ranging from 3000 grit to 220 grit, depends on the needs of the customer. It is made in China, not in the USA. Some customers found the lock to wear down and loosen over time, but generally, it is Considered a sturdy and functioning block. It is good for small jobs and works well for patching holes in walls. The block is Considered well-priced compared to similar products sold at Lowe's and Home Depot. The size of the sheet of sandpaper was not specific to this product, as the page featured two different products.
