I only fill my bottle about 1/3 full and swirl, rather than shake to mix the dressing. It helps some but doesn't offset the poor design of the leaking spout.

After refilling dispenser of oil, it leaks all around lid twist seam. Why? Do I need to wash after each refill is used up?

I've never had a leak and I don't wash them every time I fill them. Maybe just have to tighten more.

I use it for oil so it is not in the fridge, but I don't see why you could not keep it in the fridge since it is glass.

No, it will still drip a little bit when you tilt it quickly. I tilt it upright slowly with no dripping.
