This Dewalt scroll saw is a great tool for woodworkers of any experience level, although it is a bit pricey. It is an excellent saw for cutting out pinewood derby cars and can cut hard maple that is 1 1/2" thick with sharp, high-quality blades. It is also suitable for cutting exotic hardwoods. It comes with a dust collection adapter and accepts pin-less blades. Blade changes can be challenging and threading the blade through pilot holes takes patience. The saw is quiet, vibration-free, and cuts efficiently. However, some customers have complained about noise and blade movement, making it difficult to make intricate cuts.
