The adapter is straightforward to set up and works without adding any software or drivers to the device. It is powered by a 5v cell phone charger or USB port of the computer. According to customers, the device works well in most situations but has some limitations. Some customers found it hard to connect to the device, and others experienced connectivity issues. Also, although it is advertised as dual-band, the device only picks up 2.4GHz networks and has low speed compared to other devices. Lastly, some customers were unhappy with the technical support.
