The Rain Chain Copper Gutter Installer is a great product to replace standard downspouts. It simply drops into the hole that should be in the gutter, which should be 2.25" wide, and no attachment with screws or bolts is necessary. Although sealant is not necessary, it can prevent leakage from the sides of the hole. This product should work with a 6" seamless gutter, as long as a 2.25" diameter hole is cut that the neck of the gutter installer can protrude through. Some customers found it worked well with their rain chain, and it was easy to install. Other customers had issues because they didn't have gutters and needed custom installations or the diameter of the downspout was too wide to focus the rain onto the chain. But overall, it seems that the Rain Chain Copper Gutter Installer is a sturdy, well-made product that makes for a lovely visual and sound.
