The Fluke 62 MAX Infrared Thermometer is a quality product that is widely preferred over cheaper alternatives such as the Craftsman IR thermometer. It comes with a single red aiming laser, variable emissivity, and adjustable EMS. The thermometer reads surface temperature accurately, can be used both indoors and outdoors, and can measure temperatures in a swimming pool. However, it doesn't store any history internally, and the trigger may need to be squeezed a couple of times to get an accurate temperature reading.
