Two big sharp easy to use real needles NOT plastic! My 9 year old grandson wanted to learn to sew. Started with the donut and made many others independently after. Then my 3 six yr old grandchildren all wanted to and this was our start! Great book and pictures.

I want to teach our granddaughter how to use a sewing machine. Are you able to complete these projects using a sewing machine?

They teach them how to do hand sewing. Maybe a more advanced kit would connect with a sewing machine :)

Do you need a sewing machine?

A sewing machine is not needed. Everything is included to teach basic sewing skills and all projects are made by hand.

The instructions are included but there doesn't seem to be any patterns. Would it be possible to download the patterns somewhere?

Patterns aren't necessarily to complete anything in the kit. The instructions and pictures provide clear directions.

Are the patterns for all craft project shapes included in the box?

Kit includes sewing instruction booklet, 36 yd cotton thread, 15 pins, 2 metal needles, 5 pieces of acrylic felt, l piece canvas fabric, 1 piece elastic, 6 buttons, 1 measuring tape, so I assume, everything is there for the projects.

Is there anyway to get the instructions in Spanish?
