I think it should, I haven't found anything it doesn't work on. It dissolves lamp black from hurricane lamp chimneys, it just runs off, rinse and you're done.

Will this remove melted plastic from motorcycle exhaust?

It works great on fabrics/most walls/flooring. You probably could order it and try. If it doesn't work on your plastic/exhaust issue, it will help clean any gritty grimy needs. A must-have for all houses.

Can this be used on black sofas or would this cleaner turn the sofa colors?

So far I have not found anything it dis colors...

Can Awesome All Purpose Cleaner be used in a carpet cleaner?

I would not recommend using Awesome in a carpet cleaner! It can be used as a spotter but must be extracted out with water to get the PH levels close to 7. Use extremely hot water and a mild pre-spray solution of intended carpet cleaning chemicals (PH levels no higher than 11). Extract with Hot water to get the carpets at a PH level back down to 7.

Can I spray the area with bleach after Awesome dries?

You won't have to awesome does the trick. It's the best for everything.

Will this work on dirt stains on cotton fabric?

I don't know about dirt stains; I bought this product to treat food and grease stains, which it does very well. Just spray on stain, wait a few minutes before washing. Just try it since nothing else seems to work.

Why can't I return a damaged product? Description did not provide a non-refundable warning.

Not sure but I'd call the manufacturer. I don't think it would be a big deal at all to get a return or replacement for the damaged product.

Does this help remove odor from an old dog urine stain on carpet?

It will remove the stain, and should remove the odor. I use it on so many different stains. I have a one-year-old who is very messy. haha

Ok for septic systems?

Not sure about that but would definitely defer to a professional septic company.
