OTC 4503 Stinger Double Flaring Tool Kit, Black

The OTC Stinger Double Flaring Tool Set is made in Taiwan and is designed specifically for automotive brake lines. It does not work for home air conditioning systems. It cannot produce a bubble flare with the flat side of the tubing holder and will require a bubble flare tool instead. The tool works for all types of brake lines, including stainless steel. It cannot be used to create an ISO Bubble Flare. Replacement parts are not covered under a lifetime warranty and can only be purchased after 8 months. Overall, this flaring tool receives mixed reviews. While some users found it easy to use and effective, others had trouble creating a proper flare, especially with 3/16 stainless brake lines. Some users complained about the tool not gripping the brake line tightly enough, causing the line to slide backwards into the tool. On the other hand, some users thought that the tool was made of good quality materials and produced satisfactory results.
