So when I turn it on how do I make it stay on?? I want to buy the product but if it doesn't stay on that would suck.

It stays on the whole time but appears to be fluxing. I use it as extra light. Its has 2 rowes of static lights an 3 of fluxing. If its behind you you wont know the difference. It is not a static lamp though like on the nightstand. Im glad i got it. The only bad is its cheap plastic. Better if it were metal.

USB only. No battery power. That's why I sent mine back.

Can it stay on continuously? Or does it turn off after 15 min?

Turns off automatically after 15 minutes.

Can you use any usb cable?

It takes a standard USB A cable.

Does this only work if the cord is plugged in?

Only if the cord is plugged in , it does not take batteries and does not stay on without the cord, if the cord is plugged in it does have an on and off button.

Can this be wired to a 12v power source?

No. It is only rated for 5v. You can use a USB charger for your car to power it though. You'll have to hit the power button each time to make it come on unless you bypass the power switch internally.

Does it have other light modes like all-on, or only the flashing mode?

Like most things, and as it is shown in the movies, a flux capacitor is either off or on, and functioning as you see it.
