These flameless LED candles are perfect for all year round use, and the remote control makes them a game changer. Although they don't move, the flicker is very realistic and the soft yellow light gives off a lovely ambiance. They are reasonably priced and the batteries last a long time. They are made in China and the outside is smooth, but not waxy. They look great on a mantle and don't have to worry about flames. The only downside is that the flicker dies after a few months. Overall, a great product for anyone looking for a realistic flameless candle with a remote control.
